Do we like CCGs?

Online CCG. Not REALLY free. Starter deck’s free, then booster packs are reasonably priced. I can’t get it off of mind, akin to the person you know you should date under any circumstances, yet you practice what you’d say if you were alone together.

I’ve already played a couple games with the starter deck, and it’s pretty damn fine (if not steep in learning curve). Would anyone else be kind enough to check it out and give me feedback and whether they’ll join?

It’s all flash based, so no downloads. Huge plus.

Good CCGs I enjoy, how’s the support on this one? It being Japanese makes me wonder how difficult reading rulesets will be.

  2. Cynergy Says:

Sounds interesting cause i’m a ccg addict, but I have two issues with it.

    1. I don’t wanna pay for online ccg

    2. I have to physically have the cards. I love playing cards, CCG’s all types, I have issues…

    Fucking this.

I used to be a hardcore MTG player when I still had time for it. I’ll probably try to get back into the scene once I graduate.

It’s cool that the WoW TCG is actually pretty decent.

    You are such a girl

    I thought you died Marcian.

  6. Talen Lee Says:

Oh, and yes I like some CCGs.

  7. Alloric Says:

Talen, while I respect your grasp on the beast that is Magic you are a complete ass and I wouldn’t shed a tear if you never posted here (or anywhere else) ever again.

    Nobody cares what you think.

  8. Talen Lee Says:

I shed a tiny, tiny tear.

  9. Alloric Says:

Take that tear and go fuck yourself. How about that?

  10. Ostrakon Says:

As far as I’m concerned, Talen Lee is a pretty cool guy. eh taps lands and doesn’t afraid of anything.

That said, impressive to say the least. I got out of competitive MTG when Ravager was ass-raping Standard way back after Darksteel came out. I started drafting at Your Move in Boston when Time Spiral came out until school hit and I didn’t have any money, so now I’m waiting until I graduate before I start playing again.

    Who’s stealing Alloric flavor?!

And I was a hardcore competitive Magic player from just before the release of Ice Age until the introduction of Mirrodin. Unless a large number of my (local) friends are playing with zeal, I’ll likely never start dropping a couple hundred dollars every time a new set comes out again. :<

  12. New Era Says:

I started right around when Mirrodin came out.
Went from white deck, to black and white deck to black deck. I play every summer at a camp I work at. I’m thinking about selling my deck, nothing good in it really (except for this new shit; 5/4 for 5 black or red with haste, anyone?)
Even still, there were rarely games where I could just say ‘NIGHTMARE ON A HOE. 6 IN THE AIR!’ and feel confindent since a handful of other people who work at the camp were competitve enough to have decks that are literally worth 500 dollars who always beat my ass in like 5 turns with some weird ass treefolk/elf deck.

  13. Alloric Says:

Rotlung Reanimator infinite deck ftw. At the time it was a standard-legal deck capable of a turn three win… Even in multiplayer.

  14. Spazz Says:

I used to have a Yu-Gi-Oh card that I found on a park bench.

  15. Alloric Says:

    unurd

  16. Spazz Says:

    inorite?

  17. Acanous Says:

My DCI Win ratio was 88%.
I once sold one of my decks to put a friend through college.
Anyone want all my old boxes of crap? I don’t have anyone to play with anymore.
Also I’m broke ass and aside from my Highlander soldier deck, I’d sell whatever cheap.

  18. Spazz Says:

I still have an original Yu Gi Oh deck with a polymorph Blue Eyes and LE Dark Magician.

Yeah, 1200 bucks on ebay closest thing I could find a year or two ago.
