For Issue 13’s Closed Beta, we have been weighing people’s veteran status more heavily. That doesn’t mean we haven’t invited any new players - but it does mean that the majority of those invited into the closed beta this far have been long time players.

Agreed… If anything… More “long time players” have been EXCLUDED this time than any other closed beta to date …I wish they’d just come out and be honest about it that they’re doing exactly what they did last Beta: Loading phase 1-3 up with Friends, Family, and Sycophants…(obviously I don’t care if I’m ever in another Beta again… but I DO care whether my fellow posters here with keen eyes for criticisms get into Future betas. And I’ll keep pointing that out in every Beta until we finally see some real honesty here)

I think it shows that CoH is really in that “fall of Rome” stage now, heh.

When i13goes open beta, the first thing I’m gonna do is go into a PvP zone with my E^3 blaster. fly+elec = ?

Frostie may be a self-righteous bish but she surely made the Tankers mad with srs bsnss and lulzy responses to her post.

CoX is obviously dead, and BaBs’ sig pretty much kills what little respect I had for the NCNC dev team.

So our options look like:

-Champs, which is going into closed beta soon

-The KOTOR MMO looks pretty nice, as long as they don’t fuck it up like SWG. They better have more than just different types of Sith/Jedi.

-Star Trek MMO might be decent but I doubt it.

-WAR is out now, seems alright

-WoW is superpopulated, but it seems like a great deal of the community sucks. Also, I don’t feel like buying two expansions.

I, for one, will likely be jumping to CO.

I love that thread in PWNZ. It starts out by talking about how awesome I am, then about how much I fail. Then a bunch got modded, and then there were people bitching about shitty mods. Then it degenerated into mega-fail.

Seriously if you have GTA 4 but not Saints Row 2 then trade in GTA 4 for Saints Row 2.

Saints Row 2 takes everything GTA does and makes it more fun. Co-op check! Planes check! Skydiving check! Customizable character check! Parachute check! Car surfing check!

Not to mention the better weapons like a Pimp Cane that turns into a shotgun, Minigun, Flamethrower, Tase gun, Pepper Spray, Pimp Slap, Flashbang.

Also the ability to set a playlist for driving is kickass, you no longer have to listen to the shitty music.

PvP did it!

I love that even though the separation of PvE from PvP has occurred with minimal changes to the PvE game, people still keep this shit up.

This is on a football forum.  I have no idea why this idiot keeps PM’ing me, but it’s too funny not to take the bait.  The convo starts from the bottom and goes up.

This is, in essence, the convo between “Socold” and I as of 10:30PM CST. I can’t stop laughing.
